The Process

To Adding A New Furry Member To Your Family

step one

Making Your Decision

Making the decision on which type of dog to add to your family is a big one! Family members have to agree, children & parents alike and it has to suit your needs, your property & your lifestyle. If you’d like to learn more about the wonderful, playful, low to no shedding breed of Bernedoodles visit our Bernedoodles page to learn all about them! We’ve personally fallen in love with them! But we may be biased. If we can aid you in making your decision, we’d love to chat with you on the phone or over email. You can contact us here.

step two

Choosing Your Bernedoodle Puppy

If you’ve reached this step and “all-hands-in” decided on a Bernedoodle as your new family pet - now the fun starts! You get to choose which puppy is yours. We love to pair families with the puppy that fits them best and enjoy watching each of our pups personalities develop as they grow. Visit the “Choose Your Puppy” page to see which puppies are currently available and each of their personality traits will be described. We take this part seriously, and you won’t find any filler descriptions there but real qualities we’ve observed. If you’d like to chat more about a specific puppy or about what you are looking for, feel free to give us a call- we’d love to help you find the right fit! If you’d like to schedule a visit to see them for yourself, give us a call to schedule a time. (Although we realize puppy cuddles are wonderful - we welcome only serious buyers).

If we do not currently have a litter of puppies, you have the option to make a deposit towards an upcoming litter. Dates for upcoming litters will be listed on the “Choose Your Puppy” page. There are price options for 1st pick of the litter as well as standard choice.

Making The Purchase & delivery options

Step three

When you are ready to make your purchase, either a current listed puppy or a deposit towards a future litter, you can choose your puppy by name or deposit type and make the purchase here on our website. We provide a very safe form that protects you and your information. If you prefer to send a check or pay cash you are welcome to as well- contact us for details.

Before puppies from a current litter are old enough to photograph you have the option to put a deposit down to secure your pick of the litter. This also applies to when we do not have a current litter of puppies for sale, you can put a deposit down towards our next litter. The next expected date will be posted at the top of the “Choose Your Puppy” page.

This option gives you the opportunity to have pick of the litter in order of deposit placed.

Once puppies are listed, payment must be made in full to reserve.

Deposits are applied toward your total purchase price and are non-refundable.

pick up & delivery

You can also, at this time, choose the pick-up or delivery option you prefer. Puppies will be ready for you to take home with you when they are 8 weeks old.

pick-up
If you would like to pick up your puppy in person, you can schedule a time with us - just give us a call or email!

delivery by a driver
If you’d like your puppy to be delivered to you we offer a variety of options. We can arrange for your puppy to be delivered to you by vehicle with a professional puppy service. This option is quick and highly caters to your puppies comfort - stopping as needed for breaks and walks. Contact us for a customized quote based on mileage if you’re interested in this method.

delivery by flight
You can also have your puppy shipped to you via airline. We offer this special delivery option to those who cannot make the trip to pick up their puppy in person or live out of state. We hand deliver them to our local airport in a certified carrier with plenty of room to move around, breathe, drink & eat. They are handled with care by skilled cargo staff who will deliver them to your airport where you can pick them up. They ride in their very own cargo plane (not underneath the passenger plane with luggage by any means).
*Applies to airports with this cargo feature. (Includes most major domestic airports). If you are unsure about your airport, contact us to find out.

Unfortunately, our pups are too large of a breed to ride along on the passenger plane with us or you.

step four

taking care of your new puppy

We want to set you up for success in bringing your puppy home. We know he or she is sure to receive lots of cuddles and be well loved.

food for your new puppy

We will have your puppy fully dependent on solid puppy food at the 9 week period to ensure an easy transition for you. We will also give you a portion of the food we use to start them out on and all the info you need to nurture your new friend!

We use and highly recommend Life’s Abundance Dog Food. It is made from all natural sources and packed with nutrients instead of fillers like many popular feeds you’ll find on store shelves. You can order it online and have delivered to your door and even subscribe to it to eliminate the need to remember to reorder. It is so well balanced that you can feed the same food, All Life Stages, to your puppy all the way through adulthood.

If you would like to order and feed the same food we use you can order it here: [ Type: All Life Stages ]

vaccinations, worming & health guarantee

Your puppy will be vet checked, have current vaccinations and de-wormed by our family veterinarian. We provide your new puppy with a 1 year health guarantee from date of birth against life threatening congenital defects. Your puppy must be vet checked within the first 72 hours of delivery to ensure this guarantee. You can read our full Health Agreement below.

training

Last of all, we hope you LOVE your new dog! They take a little effort to train but you will, most likely, not know what you’d do without them after welcoming them into your family! They are such loving, familial dogs! We recommend crate training your new friend and can give some tips if you like. Below we have provided a resource for all kinds of information you might need for training your new puppy.

staying in touch

Last of all, we would love to stay in touch with you & see pictures of you and your Bernedoodle (family pictures or snapshots) as he/she grows with you!
